A small rectangular shaped micropub with a mix of high and low seating. There were three cask ales on and now drawn from the bar via a tap system, the beers were Bowman Lapwing, Triple fff Altons Pride and Vale Electric Sheep, two Ciders, Sandford Orchards Devon Red and Lillys Rhubarb, keg beers were Paulaner Munchener Hell, Unbarred Casual Pale, Staggeringly Good Little Arms Big Ambitions , Pipeline Northern Lights and Maverick Drawing Pictures Of Mountains.
The pub regulars were very open to strangers and interactive.

A comfortable micropub - there's some high seating along the back wall opposite the bar, with lower tables and seats towards the front. 4 cask and 6 keg ales as well as various ciders were offered on my visit. Despite being served on gravity from a jacketed cask behind the bar, my pint of Deya was wonderfully cool and perfectly conditioned.

While food is limited to crisps and nuts and the like, they're quite happy for you to order in a takeaway and they even go so far as to stock menus from the local establishments.

It's a good place and well worth a look-in.

Micropub. A good amount of effort has been expended into making this feel cosy and homely and I liked it, tall stools and high table seating excepted. No bar – the drinks are brought to your table. Eight casks racked on stillage with, I think, four on the go from what I could make out; my Flowerpots Perridge was too much on the stillage side (NBSS 2.5) however the Red Cat Heading to California was much livelier (NBSS 3.5). The owner was very friendly and chatted to us about their plans to add to their portfolio (they already operate two outlets). A micropub chain? It had to happen eventually! If they can make them to this standard, then they’ll do well – the place was packed. 7.5
